  • Bottom line: Expensive, but worth it if you need a really slim, light laptop....

  • Attractive, thin, light, excellent build, Great value for the specs, Good usability and connectivity, High screen resolution, Generous accessories
  • Screen has poor viewing angles, No keyboard backlighting, Fingerprint prone
  • Asus' 13in Zenbook comes very close to being the ultimate Ultrabook. It sports a nice design, solid aluminium build, superb connectivity, high-resolution screen, great keyboard and touchpad, class-leading audio and premium accessories such as the stylish ...

  • good looking and solid built, good HD display, excellent speakers, solid performances, proper price tag
  • shallow and imprecise keyboard, jumpy trackpad (partially fixed on the newer models), a bit too ostentatious for my taste
  • With a stylish and solid built body, the Zenbook is on of the best looking ultrabooks on the market. It's also very fast, however the screen and the keyboard did not live to our expectations, but overall the Asus UX31 is one of the best 13.3 inch ultraboo...

  • The bad points? I don’t like the restricted viewing angle on the display, and the case doesn’t immediately snap shut when you close it in your hands - the Zenbook just gapes back open a little unless you put it on a tabletop and press the case shut f...

  • Very slim and light (1.3 kg), Good general performance: CPU, RAM and SSD, 5h30 battery life, Moderate temperatures, Hot air expelled so it doesn’t burn the knees, Large multitouch touchpad
  • Poor webcam, Speakers lack power and make the chassis vibrate, Reduced connectivity, adaptors required, Low gaming capacity
  • At last, a serious competitor to the Apple Macbook Air 13.3-inch! While Asus still has a few things to perfect (battery life, audio and screen quality) to put itself on an equal footing with its competitor, the ultrabook UX31E is more powerful, has bet...

  • The Asus Zenbook UX31E is impressive. It's an excellent performer, it's attractive and light, and it plays back multimedia well. Unfortunately, its screen is off-colour and its touchpad needs more work. ...

  • Superb chassis design; fast processor; good screen,
  • Lacklustre keyboard; no way to access access battery.
  • It is hard not to like the Asus UX31 for its superb chassis design and top-notch processor. And while the screen is good, we felt a little bit let down by the keyboard, and we'd have liked a larger storage drive. ...

  • Beautifully slim design, Sturdy aluminium construction, Bright, clear screen, USB 3.0 port included
  • No different configuration options available, Screen appears slightly washed out at max brightness, Keyboard can be awkward for fast touchtyping
  • The Asus Zenbook UX31 is incredibly slim, light and great to look at. With an Intel Core i7 processor at its heart, it packs a powerful punch and still manages to undercut Apple's MacBook Air....

  • Abstract:  The first of the Ultrabooks is a lithe laptop with power and stamina, but the ergonomics aren’t quite there Intel’s thin-and-light Ultrabook concept has been gathering steam over the past few months, with a whole host of players looking to take on Appl...
