  • Abstract:  Then I started writing this list, and I realised just how few proper Cyberpunk games there actually are. Don't get me wrong, loads of games have taken inspiration from that weird moment in the early 80s where Blade Runner and Neuromancer happened within a...

  • Abstract:  Many of my favourite games are immersive sims, but compiling this list was an interesting challenge, as it's becoming increasingly difficult to define what “counts” as an immersive sim. Over the last 10 to 15 years, games from all manner of other genres h...

  • Abstract:  The highly anticipated prequel to the game that started it all, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is now available. We take a close look at this intriguing title, the first to offer in-game morphological anti-aliasing and AMD HD3D support upon its release. The...

  • A proud return to form for Deus Ex, one of the year’s best games by a long shot in its own right, and something you’re bound to replay multiple times. It’s no longer true to say ‘they don’t make ‘em like that anymore.’ ...
