  • Great battery life; comfortable keyboard; solid build quality,
  • Screen has narrow viewing angles; average sound quality; constant humming sound.
  • The Folio 13 is a well-rounded laptop for doing work. It has a solid build quality, excellent battery life and a comfortable keyboard....

  • Comfortable backlit keyboard, Windows 7 Professional, TPM security chip, Relatively long battery life, High-quality Webcam
  • Narrow screen viewing angle, Slightly high price, Only one USB 3.0 port
  • Windows 7 Professional and BIOS-level security make this ultrabook a good fit for business, while a comfortable backlit keyboard makes it a good fit for typists. Our main quibble: The screen's viewing area is far too narrow. Read More...

  • The HP Folio 13's slower mobile processor and lack of upgradability means that it is not an ideal machine for power users who need a faster processor and ample storage capacity. However, there is no sign that HP has sacrificed functionality in any way...

  • Abstract:  While the first entry by Hewlett Packard into the ultra-book category has the bells and whistles most every prospect is searching for such as: a lightening quick boot solid state hard drive, lighted keyboard, and 3.0 USB, the computer never gets noticeabl...

  • Great keyboard and battery life. Full set of ports.
  • Half a pound overweight. Screen a little underbright
  • The HP Folio 13-1020us is one of the most handsomely designed and well-engineered ultrabooks you can buy for $900....

  • Of the ultrabooks I've tested so far, the ones I've personally liked the best have been the Dell XPS 13 and this one, the HP Folio 13. Both have fairly good keyboards and both deviate from the norm a little bit, displaying some ingenuity and thought in th...

  • Affordable. First-class keyboard. Good array of ports.
  • Could be a little lighter. Screen could be a little brighter
  • The HP Folio 13-1029wm takes $100 off what was already one of the most affordable—and desirable—ultrabooks....

  • Sturdy
  • Dull, glossy display, finicky touchpad, slightly thicker and heavier than other ultrabooks. Ivy Bridge is around the corner
  • At 3.3lbs (1.49kg), HP's offering isn't the lightest around, nor is it the thinnest at 0.7in. In fact, it's toward the upper limits of both attributes with most ultrabooks weighing 2.4-2.9lbs and measuring 0.51-0.67in thick. However, I wouldn't apprec...
