  • The 2017 version of the HP Omen 17-inch gaming laptop is a small but welcome update from last year's model. It still has some room to grow, with “just okay” audio and a “just okay” touchpad, along with a rather pedestrian aesthetic. But at least it's not...

  • Excellent performance, 1070 + G-Sync = super smooth gaming
  • Plain design, Plastic chassis, HP Support Assistant blows
  • "The Omen is well priced and will shred anything you throw at it – if only the storage wasn't quite so meagre."...

  • The 17-inch HP Omen is available in several configurations depending on your needs and budget. Reasonably priced even with its top-end, VR-ready version. Low-key design and good battery life compared to other gaming systems. Nice ultra HD-resolution scree
  • Lacks the flashy design or macro/shortcut keys found on other gaming laptops. Can get hot and loud under load. No USB-C ports. No touchscreen
  • The 17-inch HP Omen might not look aggressive, but you'll have no problems taking down the competition with this fully loaded gaming laptop...

  • The HP Omen 17 comes in a wide range of configurations, most of which offer good graphical bang for your buck
  • The 4K variant has poor battery life, no option for a Nvidia GeForce 1080 GPU
  • It's not the most powerful gaming laptop out there, nor the slimmest one, but it's among the best combinations of price, screen size and performance...

  • HP's latest laptop delivers great gaming speed, decent benchmarks elsewhere and a solid multimedia experience thanks to its good screen and speakers. Battery life is solid, too. It's sad, then, that those good attributes are undermined by some serious issu...

  • Stacks of power to deal with almost anything at Full HD resolutions, Handles VR surprisingly well, Outputs to monitors without complaint
  • Build feels plasticky and creaky, Screen is washed-out, Ridiculously bulky and heavy, 90-minute gaming battery life on average
  • HP's Omen 17-w106na remains, though, a strange beast. There's no questioning its abilities as a VR-ready gaming powerhouse. It'll handle almost any task thrown at it - whether that's a media editor or a next-gen game. As a laptop you'd want to use for an...

  • Overall, the HP Omen 17 is an interesting high-end gaming laptop. It offers good gaming performance, audio, and decent battery life. While I didn't like the exaggerated color reproduction of the display, there are people who prefer such high color saturat...

  • HP Omen 17-w102no on 2000 euron laitteeksi kelpo kone.
