  • High-end design, sturdy build quality, full version of Windows 8, supports full Microsoft Office suite, good flexibility
  • Battery life could be better, no Intel Haswell support
  • The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 11S is an ultra-flexible and powerful laptop with the option to convert into various different modes, making it a close to ideal hybrid laptop....

  • Compact, clever design, good keyboard, reasonable battery life, Windows 8 rather than RT, good touchscreen
  • Still quite expensive, trackpad can be a little bothersome
  • As a laptop, the Yoga 11S has lots to offer. It's a nice little machine that has impressed us in general use. There are some interesting things to note. For a start, we tested the Core i3 version of the machine, which doesn't seem to appear on the L...

  • The Yoga 11S shares the same solid build quality as its bigger brother. The keyboard is nice and firm, it has thin chassis lines, and it comes in two colours, making it an attractive Ultrabook. (Ours was bright orange, but a more understated silver-grey version is also available.) We've seen it before in the rest of the Yoga family, but the transforming element is still impressive. Bored of using
  • While Lenovo has crammed in faster components, it does mean that the 11S gets quite hot. It's not really a problem when you're using it as a tablet, or if you've got it propped up on a desk, but use it as a laptop and your lap could get uncomfortable pretty quickly. Battery life is also a concern - the Yoga 11S's third-generation processor doesn't have the same energy-saving smarts as Intel's fou
  • Lenovo has kept the same fun transforming form factor as its original 11-inch wunderkind, but has pumped up the processing power, making the 11S an attractive purchase and a better Windows 8 hybrid than Microsoft's own Surface Pro. It's not cheap, star...

  • Lenovo's double-jointed hybrid, the Yoga 11S, is tantalisingly close to the best of both worlds, but there's room for improvement...

  • The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S convertible laptop/tablet has an innovative, trail blazing design. Unfortunately, short battery life and some details hold it back....

  • Ultrabook and tablet in one, Smart design and build quality, Generous size SSD and 8GB of RAM
  • Gets a little warm and noisy, Touchpad is only so-so, Battery a little too weak for all-day use
  • If you're looking for both an ultrabook and a tablet, but don't want too many devices kicking around, the IdeaPad Yoga 11S is a great solution. It's powerful and fully featured, with great flexibility. There are better tablets and ultrabooks, but this is ...

  • Strong hinges, Up to an i7 processor, Starts at just $799, HDMI port
  • USB 2.0 not 3.0, Tablet mode leaves keys exposed, No backlit keyboard
  • If you're in the market for a Windows 8 tablet or laptop you'd be remiss to not check out the Lenovo Yoga 11S.While it currently lacks a Haswell option, it's still plenty fast enough for whatever you want to do, with the exception of hardcore PC gaming. W...

  • Abstract:  Notebook Mode. Before we dive deep into the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11s , let's have a bit of context first. We've already reviewed the expensive Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 , whose double-hinges allowed its touchscreen to bend all the way back. With its keyboard f...

  • Great form factor for Windows 8, Bright & vibrant display, Comfortable keyboard, Unique & outstanding design, Fast & smooth due to CPU + 8GB RAM
  • about it:
  • Having to depart with the Lenovo Yoga 11S, I felt somewhat attached. The Core i5 CPU, the 8GB RAM, the display or the design might be major plot elements that have led to this conclusion, but the real story here is the form factor.I have handled touchscre...
