  • Abstract:  In the interests of full disclosure it would be best to admit that I am a huge fan of the Mass Effect series and have been eagerly waiting for Mass Effect 3 since it was officially revealed during the 2010 VGAs. This makes the task of reviewing the gam...

  • Abstract:  This review contains spoilers.Mass Effect 3. It's the end of an epic trilogy. A series that is beloved by many fans. And yet in this final installment, the series is riddled with controversy and littered with disappointment. Fans – worldwide – are crying...

  • Abstract:  PlayStation 3Despite its near universal praise, Mass Effect 2 was a major disappointment to me following the original. Not only was Mass Effect my first BioWare role-playing experience, but it was one of the first Western RPGs I'd ever completed. The c...

  • Richly realized plot, characters. Extremely customizable lead character. Multiple play modes cater to every gaming style. Excellent soundtrack, voice acting.
  • Inconsistent side quests. Potentially unsatisfying ending. Galaxy at War system conveys additional benefits only to mobile-, multiplayer-oriented users
  • This strong conclusion to BioWare's acclaimed sci-fi RPG trilogy will be best appreciated by fans who have followed it from the beginning, but newcomers don't need to worry about being lost or left behind along the way....

  • Abstract:  It’s been 5 years in the making, but we’re sadly at the end of what we’ve come to know as Shepard’s Space Opera, the massive franchise called Mass Effect. Along the way Bioware has found a way to perfect the formula of this saga, after the first one w...

  • Abstract:  How would you handle it if you found out the world was ending? How would you react if a hostile military force arrived in your city intent of its destruction and your potential enslavement? Many of us, me included, probably wouldn’t be able to handle i...

  • Abstract:  It only took two days after Mass Effect 2 was released that I've been anxiously awaiting Mass Effect 3. I am blatantly biased due to the Mass Effect series being hands down one of my favorite IPs of all time. I have a male and Fem Shep game, a paragon gam...

  • Abstract:  The first time I started to tear up a bit, I'd only been playing for two hours. Because of the vagaries of the review process and pre-release games, I was playing a newly-created Commander, rather than importing the adventure of the Shepard I played i...

  • Abstract:  It has been said that we should all take a cue from the seasons, winds, sun, and rain — and not fear the Reaper. Well, that may be true when it comes to a single Reaper, but when you’re dealing with an entire species of Reapers (plural), and said race ...
