  • Abstract:  The Nad Viso HP50 is closed-back dynamic headphone priced at $249.  Compared to other models in the price range, it's a strong performer with some key differences - making it an ideal choice for some listening tastes and a sub-par option for others. Const...

  • The NAD Viso HP50's sealed design provides effective isolation from environmental noise while also managing to sound more like you're listening to music from loudspeakers in a room, with a more natural, open, and threedimensional sound, The NAD Viso HP50
  • The gloss finish of the ear cups picks up fingerprints easily
  • In the NAD Viso HP50, I've found a closed-back, audiophile-grade headphone for everyday use that sounds more like an open-back design and has a more reasonable price than typical audiophile headphones. The Viso HP50's balanced sonic presentation makes it...

  • The NAD Viso HP50 offers impressively accurate, clean sound and is well designed and comfortable to wear. It folds flat for storage in a nice carrying case (which is included) and comes with both a straight cable and one that integrates an Apple friendly
  • Somewhat expensive, some remote features may not work with Android devices
  • The NAD isn't head and shoulders above the competition in its price class, but it does sound really good and should be given careful consideration if you're looking for an audiophile-grade headphone that won't break the bank....

  • Abstract:  The NAD Viso HP-50 springs from the same source as the most acclaimed headphone of the last year: the PSB M4U 2, named Product of the Year at Sound & Vision magazine. (Full disclosure: I freelance for S&V and played a large role in that selection.) The M4...

  • Everything combined this headphone sounds superb, sure the treble could have been even better but you can't have it all I suppose. Some people say it isn't musical but I really cannot agree with that (only with the AK120II it wasn't sounding at its best)....

  • Superb sound, Elegant good looks, Comfy to wear for long trips
  • Non-hinged headband doesn't collapse for compact storage
  • NAD's first headphone scores high on every front—style, sound, comfort, and value....

  • In this category of entry level audiophile headphones I look for several key components. First is a balanced sound, second is comfort, and third is value. We all like to find that product that presents a great value and makes you feel like you are getting...

  • Abstract:  Of course you wouldn't do it since this is your job and hobby. We wouldn't want you to stick with this as the last pair because there would be no more reviews and no more innerfidelity LOL... But just being able to say that you can live with this one is e...

  • That slight tightness of fit aside, we have no criticisms to throw at the HP50 — it is a strong performer, with a rich and real sound balance that will delight listeners across multiple genres. We advise auditioning their sound alongside rivals at higher...
