Good keyboard, Matte screen, Intel Core i5 power
Fiddly touchpad, Plain looks, Limited connections
The Lenovo IdeaPad U300S is a good ultra-portable laptop and the matte screen makes it ideal for working outside. However, if you’re looking for an Ultrabook to use as your main PC, it doesn’t offer any compelling reasons to choose it over the competi
No matter which way you cut it, the U300s is a pricey laptop, though only moderately more so than the similarly configured competition. It's available in a slower, less capacious configuration with a Core i5-2457M CPU and a 128GB SSD for around £900, a...
Attractive, different design, Affordable, Ergonomic keyboard, Good battery life, Full-size HDMI
No SD card reader, No keyboard backlighting, Screen has poor viewing angles, Sharp edges
Once again we have another excellent 13in Ultrabook entrant with just a few too many flaws to fully recommend it. Nonetheless, Lenovo's stylish and ergonomic IdeaPad U300s is a strong contender, and at under £900 in its Core i5 guise it's our favourite bu...

Abstract: Lenevo U300s is an ultra-slim notebook with an attractive metal design. The 13.3 inch screen has a native resolution of 1366x768p, which is lower than some of its close competitors, such as Asus Zenbook and Macbook air. It has sturdy, well-spaced ke...
Attractive, unibody metal shell, Very good performance, Intel WiDi feature, Excellent keyboard, Useful proprietary software
Trackpad isn't the best, No SD Card slot
Lenovo's first ultrabook to launch in India, the IdeaPad U300s, couldn't be more eye-catching. Despite being a sleek and lightweight ultraportable laptop, like the HP Folio 13 (read our review) and Asus Zenbook UX31E, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s successfu...
Solid Build Quality, Unique 'booklike' design, Very Portable, Very Good performance, Responsive keyboard and Multitouch gesture enabled touchpad, Windows installation is relatively free of bloatware
Could have had a better screen, No Backlighting option for the keyboard
This elegant looking ultrabook is among Intel's new wave of ultraportables that are meant to compete against Apple's Mac Book Air. The IdeaPad U300s ultrabook comes with a distinctive new look, is very portable and has a good build quality. Its perfor...
At Rs.67,990, it is a little bit cheaper than a similarly spec’d MacBook Air, but overall, it’s still pretty steep. If Lenovo dropped the price to about 45-50K, then it would make a very good buy. Sure it may not have a LAN jack, but honestly, I didn’t...
