The editors liked

The editors didn't like

  • The LG Optimus 3D is a fantastic smartphone, built on a similar base as the LG Optimus Black and the LG Revolution. Like the Motorola Atrix 4G, the LG Optimus 3D is trying to take smartphones to new heights. As this is the first time attempt at ...

  • Abstract:  Verdict: Bigger than your average smartphone to go 3D, this phone takes great 3D stills, though we

  • 3D camera provides good images in decent light; Feels sturdy and well made;
  • 3D camera struggles in darker environments; No flash for 3D camera; Older version of Android OS; Onscreen keyboard could be better;
  • The 3D features on the Optimus 3D are an entertaining inclusion for creative types, but posibly not a strong enough inducement to buy on their own merit. Lucky for LG, then, that its latest handset is accomplished in its own right.

  • 3D technology impressive, Fast and slick performance, Large screen
  • Mediocre battery life, Large and chunky design, Limited 3D content
  • The world's first 3D smartphone, the appropriately-named LG Optimus 3D, is limited in its use, with the 3D camera and 3D gaming the main highlights. The 3D concept itself is well integrated, but the Optimus 3D has mediocre battery life, and its chunky des...
